Barcelona is making progress in creating a Blue Economy hub as a strategic sector for the future.

The Blue Economy sector in Barcelona currently employs around 15,000 jobs and generates 3.75 billion euros in annual turnover, along the 16.67 km of coastline, and represents 4.3% of the GDP of the city ​​and 1.4% of employment. In this sense, the reAct BCN conferences have organized this morning the Impulse of the Blue Economy conference in Barcelona, ​​with the presence of the main economic and social actors in the sector. read_more
