The Barcelona Clúster Nàutic, YoungShip Spain and the Nautical School of Barcelona have organized the session "Opportunities of the blockchain for the nautical and maritime industry", which has brought together about fifty people at the Nautical School.
Speakers have been Juan Caubet, director of the IT Security Unit of Eurecat, and Javier Gallardo, director of PortIC, the technological platform that facilitates the interaction between the entire port community and that will soon be based on the blockchain.
The speakers explained the possibilities of the blockchain applied to the nautical sector and especially to the maritime transport chain.
With these training activities, the Barcelona Clúster Nàutic helps its members to put the long lights on the car, or on the company. In this case, the technological revolution of the future will go through the blockchain and its applications, in terms of security, participation and data transfer, among others.
