Barcelona Clúster Nàutic participated this week in Tomorrow.Blue Economy, the leading international event dedicated to the blue economy, held at Fira de Barcelona – Recinto Gran Via, as part of the Smart City Expo World Congress.
The cluster’s director, Clàudia Parera, took part as a speaker in the roundtable “Training Talent for the Ocean Economy of the Future,” held on November 6, which explored new professional pathways related to oceans, seas, and coastal areas, as well as strategies to train professionals ready to meet the growing demands of the maritime and port sector.
The session, moderated by Barcelona Activa, included Alexandre Ariza (Academic Manager at the European Intermodal School), Xavier Cuerpo Martínez (Head of Studies at the Nautical Institute), and Miquel Canals (Director of the Sustainable Blue Economy Chair at the University of Barcelona).
