The Barcelona Nautical Cluster recently welcomed a group of students from the University of Seoul who showed great interest in learning how Barcelona has worked to integrate the city with its coastline and strengthen its connection with the sea.
The students’ objective is to gather information and experiences to support the development of a study on improving the use of the Han River in Seoul, which divides the city into two parts, and exploring how it could be better integrated into the urban environment to create more accessible and sustainable spaces for citizens.
During the meeting, the Cluster presented the initiatives, projects and collaboration models between public authorities, the nautical sector and the local community that help transform the coastline into a space for living, activities and innovation, connecting Barcelona with the sea and enhancing its social and economic value.
