On July 2, Barcelona Clúster Nàutic organized a webinar in collaboration with the cybersecurity company Ackcent, exclusively for our members.

During the session, experts Lluís Vera and Laia Garcia Padró explained the three essential phases to protect an organization from cyberattacks: prevent, detect, and respond.

They also shared highly relevant data, such as the fact that SMEs are the primary target of cyberattacks, as they represent the majority of the business fabric and generally do not have the same level of protection as large companies.

One of the most important pieces of advice was to use different passwords for each portal, a simple yet highly effective practice to reduce risks. It was also highlighted that a company suffering an attack takes, on average, 24 days to recover its normal activity, emphasizing the importance of being well prepared.

The Cluster wants to stress the importance of being well protected and avoiding shocks that could seriously affect the business activity.
