The facilities of Marina Vela and Port Vell have hosted a new edition of the 080 Barcelona Fashion Week, consolidating Barcelona’s waterfront as versatile venues for major international events.
Over several days, the runway brought together established and emerging designers in a programme that included more than twenty fashion shows, as well as presentations and activities related to the fashion industry. The event once again positioned Barcelona as a creative benchmark, attracting thousands of attendees, industry professionals, specialised press, and content creators.
The celebration of the 080 Barcelona Fashion Week in the Marina Vela and Port Vell area highlights the potential of the city’s nautical spaces as platforms for high-profile initiatives, strengthening the connection between the sea, innovation, and the creative industries.
The Barcelona Clúster Nàutic would like to especially thank Marina Vela for the invitation to one of the shows, which provided first-hand insight into the organisation and scale of an event of this magnitude, as well as its impact on Barcelona’s nautical environment.
These types of initiatives help energise the sector, generate new opportunities, and continue positioning Barcelona as an international hub where nautical activity, culture, and creativity converge.
