The Barcelona Capital Nàutica Foundation was created in 2005 as the Navegació Oceànica Barcelona Foundation (FNOB) with the aim of promoting sailing. Now, almost 20 years later, it is transforming to embrace more areas of activity in order to make Barcelona and Catalonia nautical benchmarks, through the promotion of sailing, sport, sustainability, training, the blue economy, and maritime culture.
