Today, members of the Barcelona Clúster Nàutic visited the facilities of ATE Composites in a visit made possible thanks to the coordination of the Clúster de Materials Avançats.
ATE Composites is a company specialized in the design and manufacture of advanced composite solutions, with a strong track record in sectors such as automotive, industry and advanced engineering. Its expertise in production processes, materials innovation and technical solutions also makes it a company of great interest for the nautical sector, where composites play an increasingly strategic role in terms of performance, lightness and sustainability.
During the visit, Cluster members were able to learn first-hand about the company’s facilities and production processes, discover technological applications transferable to the nautical sector, explore potential synergies and collaborations, and expand their network of contacts with professionals from other industrial sectors.
The Cluster considers it especially relevant for nautical companies to engage with firms already operating in areas such as the automotive industry, as cross-sector knowledge exchange is key to driving innovation and opening up new business opportunities.
