Vanessa Guadamud Calderón, Project Management and Administration Technician at the Barcelona Clúster Nàutic, recently participated in an international training programme and study visit in Bavaria (Germany), organised by ACCIÓ. The programme focused on cluster management, innovation ecosystems, and European collaborative initiatives.
The mission brought together representatives from Catalan and German clusters with the aim of fostering the exchange of knowledge and best practices in strategic areas such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, resilience, internationalisation, and business engagement in collaborative projects driven by clusters.
Throughout the programme, participants had the opportunity to attend networking sessions, panel discussions, and working meetings with key stakeholders from the Bavarian innovation ecosystem. The agenda also included visits to leading technology and innovation centres in the city of Augsburg, where models of collaboration between companies, knowledge institutions, and public administrations were presented to boost competitiveness and the transformation of different economic sectors.
This experience has provided first-hand insight into new methodologies and approaches to cluster management, as well as identified opportunities for international collaboration that can help strengthen Barcelona’s nautical ecosystem.
Participation in initiatives of this kind reinforces Barcelona Clúster Nàutic’s commitment to innovation, international cooperation, and value creation for its members, incorporating new perspectives and tools that support the sustainable and competitive development of the blue economy.
