Alba Seña, Communications and Marketing Manager at Barcelona Clúster Nàutic, attended this international event, which was also open to the Cluster’s members, offering an opportunity to exchange knowledge, explore market trends and foster new collaboration opportunities.
Barcelona Clúster Nàutic and its members had the opportunity to attend the Winter Pop-Up organised by Cluster Yachting Monaco, an exclusive event bringing together professionals and representatives from the international yachting industry. Alba Seña, Communications and Marketing Manager at the Cluster, attended the event on behalf of the organisation. Participation was made possible through the partnership and ongoing collaboration between Barcelona Clúster Nàutic and its Monegasque counterpart.
The programme featured three open discussions addressing some of the key challenges and trends shaping the present and future of the yachting industry, followed by an Open Day that gave attendees the opportunity to connect with international professionals and visit several yachts.
The programme explored strategic issues shaping the evolution of the international yachting industry.
The first session, “Geopolitics & Market Realignment in Yachting,” examined how geopolitical developments are influencing market dynamics and reshaping the industry. One of the key highlights was the significant growth of the Red Sea market and its increasing relevance within the international yachting landscape.
The second session, “Cluster Talk: Key Findings from the IMSEE Study on Monaco’s Maritime Economy and Yachting Industry,” focused on the main findings of IMSEE’s study on Monaco’s maritime economy and yachting industry, providing insights into the sector’s importance and development within the Principality.
Finally, “Sustainability & the Future of Sailing Superyachts” addressed sustainability as one of the industry’s major challenges, focusing on the future of sailing superyachts and the need to move towards more sustainable approaches to navigation.
Following the discussions, the Open Day allowed participants to continue exchanging ideas, strengthen professional relationships and explore several yachts first-hand. The event provided a valuable setting for connecting with international stakeholders across the yachting industry and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.
Participation in this event reflects Barcelona Clúster Nàutic’s commitment to internationalisation, knowledge sharing and the development of synergies between companies and organisations across the sector. It also offered the Cluster’s members an opportunity to connect with industry professionals, gain insights into market trends and strengthen their presence in the international yachting community.
Barcelona Clúster Nàutic would like to thank Cluster Yachting Monaco for the invitation and the excellent organisation of the event, which helps strengthen ties between both yachting ecosystems and create new opportunities for collaboration.
