The congress organized by Eurecat brought together prominent experts and leaders from the business, technological, and scientific sectors to reflect on future challenges and the key role of innovation in transforming our society.

The event was inaugurated by Guillem De Prat, director of the executive education program at IESE Business School, and closed by Miquel Sàmper Rodríguez, Minister of Business and Labor of the Generalitat of Catalonia. Both were accompanied by Daniel Altimiras Viladrich, president of Eurecat, who emphasized the center’s commitment to innovation aimed at the common good.

During the day, three roundtables were held that provided a deep and multidisciplinary perspective. The first reviewed Eurecat’s 10-year trajectory as an innovation driver, with the participation of Dénia Martínez Chamorro, Jordi Aguasca, Joaquim Salvi, Emilio Palomares, and Lluís Chico Roca.

Next, the future of the healthcare system was addressed, with special emphasis on making it more efficient and sustainable, in a debate with Joan Guanyabens, Montserrat Bernabeu, Carlos Molina, Albert Giralt Cadevall, and Elisabet De la Vall.

The third table focused on the role of artificial intelligence applied to sustainability and ethics, with interventions from Antonio Acín, Almudena Justo Martínez, Eva Martín Fierro, and Demetri Rico.

One of the highlights of the congress was the intervention of Cecilia MoSze Tham, who encouraged attendees to look ahead and start preparing today for the major changes to come.

An inspiring day that reaffirms Eurecat’s role as a benchmark in promoting responsible and transformative innovation.
