Barcelona Clúster Nàutic participated this week in Tomorrow.Blue Economy, the international reference event dedicated to the blue economy, held at Fira de Barcelona – Recinte Gran Via, as part of the Smart City Expo World Congress.
The cluster’s director, Clàudia Parera, spoke at the round table “Training Talent for the Ocean Economy of the Future,” held on November 6, exploring new professional pathways linked to oceans, seas, and coastal areas, as well as strategies to train professionals prepared for the growing demands of the maritime and port sector.
The session, moderated by Barcelona Activa, featured Alexandre Ariza (Academic Manager of the Escola Europea Intermodal), Xavier Cuerpo Martínez (Head of Studies at the Institut de Nàutica), and Miquel Canals (Director of the Sustainable Blue Economy Chair at the University of Barcelona).
