Within the framework of the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, Barcelona Clúster Nàutic and Cluster Yachting Monaco have agreed to collaborate more closely with the aim of strengthening the links between two of the most dynamic nautical ecosystems in Europe.
The collaboration agreement aims to promote joint initiatives that increase sector competitiveness, encourage mutual participation in major international events, enhance sustainability, digital transition, and technological innovation, as well as promote cooperation between companies, institutions, and specialized training centers.
For Clàudia Parera, General Director of Barcelona Clúster Nàutic, strengthening this alliance means uniting two nautical powers with a common purpose: to jointly face the global challenges of the sector and open new avenues of business and cooperation throughout the Mediterranean. Parera also emphasized that the connection between Barcelona and Monaco is particularly significant and key in the sector’s growth strategy, exponentially accelerating the objectives of both organizations.
For her part, Carmel Van Der Weide, General Director of Cluster Yachting Monaco, highlighted her confidence that this collaboration will strengthen the regional nautical ecosystem and facilitate meaningful connections among members and the yachting sector as a whole.
With this alliance, Barcelona and Monaco reaffirm their role as leading hubs in the blue economy, extending their influence beyond the Mediterranean and paving the way for joint actions in areas such as specialized training, international promotion of the nautical sector, and development of globally impactful sustainable projects.
Both entities thus reinforce their leadership in the international nautical industry, joining efforts to build a more innovative, competitive, and sustainable future.
