On Monday, October 27, Clàudia Parera, director of Barcelona Clúster Nàutic, participated in NovaGob 2025, the leading public innovation congress in the Ibero-American world, which annually brings together over a thousand professionals from public administration, academia, and business to share experiences, projects, and trends in governance, digitalization, and sustainability.
During her participation, Clàudia Parera spoke at the round table “Blue Innovation: Coastal City Experiences,” a space dedicated to showcasing how coastal cities are applying innovation to drive economic development, sustainability, and digitalization, connecting citizens, businesses, and technology.
This session also included Jose Rica Bilbao (Getxo City Council), Emilio Álvarez-Miranda (La Coruña City Council), and Andrés Caballero Quintana (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council and University of Las Palmas), who shared urban transformation initiatives linked to the blue economy and sustainable management of coastal spaces.
At Barcelona Clúster Nàutic, we celebrate representing Barcelona’s nautical and port sector in forums like NovaGob, highlighting the importance of innovation, public-private collaboration, and sustainability as drivers of competitiveness and development for coastal cities.
