This Tuesday, the president of Barcelona Clúster Nàutic, Ignacio Erroz; the vice president, Belén Martín; the director, Claudia Parera; and representatives of the cluster board met with the Mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni, and the Deputy Mayor for Economy, Finance, Economic Promotion, and Tourism, Jordi Valls.

The meeting served to discuss the main challenges facing the city in key areas for its economic development, with special attention to the role of nautical activities within the blue economy.

During the meeting, the cluster’s trajectory and commitment were highlighted as an active agent in the transformation of the coastline and as a connection point between business, administration, and knowledge. The cluster thus consolidates itself as a relevant interlocutor in the lines of work that the city council considers a priority for the future of the city.

The Barcelona City Council and Barcelona Clúster Nàutic reaffirmed their commitment to continue working together to promote initiatives that generate value, economic development, and opportunities for the city of Barcelona.
