Last week, Barcelona Clúster Nàutic participated in “Connect Innovation: University, Business and Future,” a key event organized by Fundación Telefónica – Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) – Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) Chair, which promotes dialogue between scientific knowledge, technology, and innovation.
The event, held at the UPC Vèrtex Auditorium, brought together experts from academia and industry with the aim of exploring how rigorous knowledge can be transformed into real and applicable innovation across multiple sectors.
One of the highlights was the presentation by Ferran Adrià, who introduced the Sapiens method: a conceptual framework that allows structured understanding and innovation, currently inspiring creative and methodological processes in various fields.
For Barcelona Clúster Nàutic, attending this Chair is a profoundly enriching experience. These sessions allow us to gain new perspectives, continue evolving, and generate ideas that we later apply in our work lines within the cluster.
With an eye on the future, we continue to invest in training, innovation, and knowledge as growth drivers for Barcelona’s nautical sector.
