Claudia Parera Blanch, Managing Director of the Barcelona Clúster Nàutic, took part last week in the XXII ACPET Technical Conferences, a leading event that brings together professionals, managers, and institutional representatives from the sports and tourism port sector in Catalonia.
These conferences serve as a key space for debate, reflection, and knowledge exchange on the main challenges and opportunities facing the sector. Throughout the sessions, strategic issues related to sustainability, innovation, port management, and public-private collaboration are addressed, with the aim of moving towards a more competitive, sustainable, and territorially integrated port model.
In addition to the technical content of the presentations, the event is also an excellent opportunity to strengthen ties between different stakeholders and foster collaboration among organisations.
In this context, the cluster’s Managing Director took part in a roundtable discussion with leading industry professionals such as Jordi Carrasco, General Director of the Asociación Nacional de Empresas Náuticas; Nicolás González, General Manager of Sant Carles Marina; Carlos Torrado, General Director of CEACNA; and Tomás Azcárate Díaz, President of Marinas de España, contributing the perspective of Barcelona’s nautical ecosystem and to the ongoing dialogue on the present and future of the sector.
